L\u2019\u0152uvre<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, Bernard Quentin<\/strong> cr\u00e9e ses premi\u00e8res sculptures gonflables (Cybules<\/em>)<\/strong> apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu\u2019au XXe si\u00e8cle l\u2019artiste se devait d\u00e9sormais de travailler \u00e0 partir de nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux en essayant, par sa vision du monde, de modifier peut-\u00eatre ou de cr\u00e9er des objets \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelon industriel. Il va ainsi devenir le premier designer \u00e0 concevoir des si\u00e8ges int\u00e9gralement gonflables<\/strong> qui seront pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s en 1963 par la Galerie Iris Clert<\/strong> \u00e0 Paris lors d\u2019une exposition \u00e0 ambition futuriste (Le salon de l\u2019an 2104<\/em>) puis \u00e0 la Foire internationale de New York <\/em><\/strong>en 1964 avant d\u2019\u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par Plasteco Milano en Italie. Dans la foul\u00e9e Bernard Quentin con\u00e7oit un ensemble d\u2019architectures, de voitures et de mobilier gonflables dont le Fauteuil\u00a0Croissant<\/em><\/strong> diffus\u00e9 par le Printemps qui avait \u00e9t\u00e9 choisi pour habiller le bar du Pavillon Fran\u00e7ais de l\u2019Exposition Universelle de Montr\u00e9al en 1967<\/em><\/strong> avant de rejoindre les collections du Centre Pompidou<\/strong>. Bernard Quentin ayant toujours revendiqu\u00e9 sa volont\u00e9 de rendre l\u2019art accessible \u00e0 tous, une \u0153uvre, telle ce Fauteuil Croissant<\/em>, trouve naturellement sa place au sein de la collection Art For All<\/strong>, d\u2019autant qu\u2019elle symbolise un tournant historique dans la d\u00e9mocratisation non seulement de l\u2019art mais aussi du design contemporain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
